My favourite posts as Google Local Guide are about my trips: I like to share my favorite photos, the magic places I found during my trip, my opinions…
But what I really find useful and rewarding is giving to other people information about gluten free offers in the places I visit in the world, far far away or just 2 steps far from my home. I am a coeliac since 2009; saying goodbye to gluten-fully delicious goodies was not easy for me at all! Every time a leave my comfort zone (home, work, family, closest friends) it is not easy to explain what I really need, and it is not easy to find some kind of food that not only I CAN eat, but also I WANT to eat, like anybody else. It’s not always easy to find information about real gluten free offers in restaurants, shops, hotels… Expecially while I am traveling abroad. Before choosing a place where to eat, I always search for information about gluten free options on Google. So I think it’s important to write a review and give information about gluten free options to other users … And I think it could be great if Google could have a Gluten Free Section to connect coeliac people around the world: a unique place where coeliac people or their closers or friends could share information, without wasting hours by surfing the net (often without any results…) .
