"Ghost" reviews and photos of removed duplicated place

Hi guys!

I’m facing a problem with a photo and a review of mine.

There was a duplicate of a place (https://goo.gl/maps/FKD1798wxLz) that I marked as such and it got merged. Unfortunately, it removed the popular place (with most of the reviews and pictures) and merged everything in the one with only one review. Now pictures haven’t been moved (I can still see the picture in my contributions, but it doesn’t show up at the place.

Furthermore, my review of the “old place” was moved and is publicly readable, but as soon as I am signed in with my account, I can’t see it anymore. I wrote a new review and tried to delete the old one (which isn’t possible! It says “Can’t delete review”) and now there are two of my reviews at this place, what is weird. However, again if I’m signed in with my account, I only see one review (while in the contribution section of my account there are two, both publicly visible)

What should I do? Is that a common issue?

This is typically not a common issue, but does happen unfortunately. There isn’t much you can do at this point.

Remember, you’re the manager/owner of these listings, and it’s up to you to be organized and keep track of the right listings you want published.

Let this me a learning experience on how to use the features available to you.
