As a sucker for making informed choices no matter how small, I do research every time.
So giving out information as to how a place compares with others in the area helps businesses who value customers rise up.
For someone visiting the area, they get an idea as to what the best places are there for a "certain thing”.
It’s a win-win for both the customers and the businesses.
