Recently during 8-19 May 2019, I have spent my holidays with my family, traveling to 3 European countries (Germany, Netherlands and Belgium) and visiting so many interesting places - mainly city iconic sites and tourist attractions.
Cologne is my first city to visit. Main attractions are Cologne Cathedral (it’s a must-see place), Chocolate Museum, Old Town, Museum Ludwig, etc. By the way, I’m not writing this post to cover all the mentioned sites. I’m going to take you to the place that you can see panoramic view of Cologne all around with the cheapest entrance fee - just 3 euros !
Cologne Triangle / KölnTriangle
Address: Ottopl. 1, 50679 Köln, Germany
Website: koelntriangle.de
Opening Times: Monday - Friday 11:00 - 23:00 | Saturday - Sunday 10:00 - 23:00
Observation Deck Entrance Fee: €3
Most attraction sites in Cologne are located at both sides of the Rhine River with Hohenzollernbrucke in between. Cologne Central Station is on the left next to the Cologne Cathedral while Cologne Triangle observation deck is on the right (as shown on the map), right next to the Koln Messe/Deutz train station.
To sum up, this place is highly recommended to visit if you have a chance to go to Cologne - with this panoramic view it’s worth to pay at all costs and you will not get disappointed.
