Hello, world.
This is my very first post here. GPS and its software (called also GIS) used to be, was my toolspart when finishing my postgraduate Thesis in Environmental Science, around 2009-2010.
Nowadays, as an immigration officer, i got assignment several times driving to the remote area for visiting and checking immigration post. While driving, as usual, i always bring GPS and of course Google maps (as an A-GPS) in my Android phone.
Just few people understand how to use GPS and Google maps (later shortened to Gmaps, although Gmaps is made to simplify the complex system of GPS, still, many people don’t understand how to tap correctly onto the Gmaps screen (commonly in Indonesia). So, several times i helped people about how to use gmaps correctly and teach them about its system to get more accurate tap.
For them, still, it’s so complex, but for me it’s simple and fun, as environmentalist (thanks God).
