The once official residence of Mexico’s presidents, Los Pinos, is immersed in one of the most beautiful urban parks in the world, El Bosque de Chapultepec. Today it is a public space for the promotion of culture, including open-air artistic events in the flowery gardens. It is a consolidated tourist center, with several million visitors per year, according to Mexican Government sources. The residential complex consists of several rooms displaying ostentatious objects enjoyed by the privileged ruling class. Each room has a different theme of national history, including the luxurious Casa Miguel Alemán, with its colossal chandelier in the lobby. #LocalGuidesMexico
