Geisha Coffee in Panama City

Have you tried Geisha Coffee?

When in Panama City, I recommend you these Specialty Coffee Cafeterias that serve Geisha Coffee.

You have to ask if you can have an Espresso Shot made of Geisha Coffee, not in all cafeterias is available.

The one that I prefer is Siete Granos

Hi @ErickSSS

As a coffee fan, I’m always interested in knowing the variant of coffee in the world. I’ve never tried Geisha Cofffee before. Looks interesting!

Is it served hot and in a shot like Espresso?

Please add more information regarding this coffee and your experience at your favorite Geisha Coffee shop. We would be pleased to know more about it

changes done.

Thanks for your suggestion

I’m with @Velvel , @ErickSSS . I had to look up what Geisha coffee is. After doing some research I found,

Geisha coffee, sometimes referred to as Gesha coffee, is a type of coffee that originated in the village of Gesha, Ethiopia. It is widely known for its unique flavor profile of floral and sweet notes, its high selling price, and elusive prestige as its demand increases over the years.

I had no idea it was Ethiopian coffee. My favorite origin of coffee in the world. I would love to try some!

You’re welcome @ErickSSS

Do you often drink this coffee?

Which one do you prefer, with or without sugar?

I would like to remind you, please add @ before the name to communicate with fellow Local Guides on Connect, so that the one you mentioned will get the notification

Thanks for doing the research @JordanSB

Interesting! Coffee with unique flavor as the combination of floral and sweet notes. Now I’m imagining that the smell would be so nice

I would also love to try it someday.

hi @Velvel @JordanSB , indeed, Gesha coffee is from Ethiopia, but found a better terroir in Panama.

This pandemic year, Panamanian Geisha got an auction price of $1,300.50 /lb, for its unique flavor.

I have almost 4 years drinking Geisha coffee almost everyday and if you find a cafeteria near by you or you can order to a Specialty Coffee Roaster you can find why.
