The temple of lord ganesh is located in the Konkan coastal region’s Ratnagiri district. There are eight doors to the eight major gods of India. The Ganpatipule Temple in Western India is the eighth of the principal gods, and it is a temple steeped in myths around its construction.
‘Poole’ in Ganpatipule refers to sand dunes. Since Lord Ganesh arose from the sand dunes, this region came to be known by the name Ganpatipule.Together with the breathtakingly gorgeous architecture of the new temple and a sandy beach that plays with the endless blue-and-white waves.
It’s a gorgeous temple where you feel at ease and filled with devotion. The idol is thought to be the Paschim Dwardevata and faces west, which is unique.Situated approximately a kilometer away from Ganpatipule town, at the foot of an Arabian Sea hill, the temple dates back more than 400 years. The temple was constructed around what is believed to be Lord Ganesh the stony face of the hill. A copper deity of Ganapati riding a lion is also housed in the temple.

Excellent post @Praniketmore . I had been to this lovely place in my childhood. The famous Marathi movie ‘Navra maza navsacha’ was shot here. You have captured great pics. These photos reminded me of the good old days spent with family. Planning to soon visit this temple.

The photo #12 was shot from Hilli Road, which runs parallel to the coastal for about 12 kilometers.the movietic scenario, which lasts for thirty minutes, is a magnificent experience because of the hill curves…thank you .
