Thanks @Aruni . Gaganachukki and Barachukki water falls are situated near the towns of Shivanasamudra in the Mandya district of Karnataka. Shivanasamudra literally means Lord Shiva’ s sea.
It is situated in the banks of Couverture river and one of the first power/hydronic stations in Asia.

@fizireal , Gaganachukki and Barachukki waterfalls are located in Shivanand anidra, which is 140kms away from Bangalore

@Kousalya I want to visit Shravanbelagola someday. Really fascinating place, Jain Muni Shree Bhadrabahu (Spiritual teacher of Chandragupta Mauriya) stayed for a long time. Lot of ancient scriptures written on the carvings of caves and temples there. You have Lord Bahubali’s statue there. It’s a bit far (almost 143 km) from Bangalore.
