Peshawar is very famous for its unique foods as mutton Karahi, Mutton B.B.Q, Mutton Rosh, and Kabuli Pulao. Lamb meat is very popular in Pattans, so you will find Mutton hotels everywhere in Peshawar, Quetta, Jalalabad and many other cities of Afghanistan. They are very professional to made delicious mutton foods.
Peshawri Mutton karahi is made without any Species they add only salt to it and cooks in its own fats. I am very keen on food so that why I often do diet breaks with my friends. It’s my habit to try new recipes and foods. I had heard of Kaddi Kebab but had not eaten. And I thought I’d make a kebab meal with friends. Kaddi kebab is cooked throughout the sand oven, which is very beautiful to look at and extremely delicious to eat.
Imad is my office colleague. A few days ago, God grant him a son, it was his first son and he was very happy for the arrival of his son. Here the pattans have a tradition where a baby is born. So they arrange food for their friends and relatives. This tradition is called “Sobat” in the Pashto language. All the friends at the office agreed to eat Kaddi Kebab and plan a trip to the famous Restaurant of Peshawar Islamia Resturant. The order was made for Caddy Kebab at 2:00 PM And we got there at around 8:00 pm.
We couldn’t wait any longer because one dish was delicious and the other we waited for several hours. In the meantime, a waiter presented the Kaddi kabab in a large tray. The lamb was full of Kabuli pulao, which had pieces of lamb fat and dried fruit.
After eating
All my friends enjoyed the meal very much. Instead of cold drinks, we drank the famous Peshawar green tea (Qahwa) after dinner.
A special prayer was offered by all the participants for Imad’s son at the end of the gathering. We pray to God that his son be a righteous and successful man.
