The fruit stands at the market are always full of fruits at the start of the raining season. There’s pineapples, a fruit locally called agbalumo, mangoes, pears, apples. These fruits are cheap and you can easily find them in markets both big and small, by the roadside and a special section just for fruits. Bananas on the other hand are not cheap IN Asaba. They are cheaper in other cities and towns especially in Ore, western Nigeria. Ore is known for their sweet bananas so if you’re ever in Ore, buy a banana.
