'Gallivanter’ is a word that is used for the persons who loves to travel for the pursuits of amusement, pleasure or for the peace of mind. It accurately defines me as it really gives me peace of mind, broadens my horizons, boosts up my confidence, rejuvenates me for again busy schedules, interacts with the new people having different traditions and cultures, to explore new places and to capture every moment which I could share with others.
I’m Atta-ul-Waheed and I’m Doctor by profession. This brief story is about my passion, my Love for traveling and photography, my exhilarating experience of interacting with the people of one of the most beautiful Land on Earth, Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan and above all, my passion for serving people in the form of guiding and sharing about its jewels.
Baltistan is located in northern Pakistan, a land rich in preserved culture, purely organic lifestyle, natural beauty, lush green Valleys, Mighty and gigantic mountains including some Highest mountains of the Planet Earth. I traveled a few months back for the first time. I captured every little moment to virtually preserve the Almighty’s creations.
I met with the kids there, there smiles, their contentment and their little pretty faces, their glowing beauty attracted me a lot. The people there are so welcoming, loving and hospitable. They remain busy in there organic lifestyles, free from all digital technologies, plucking and harvesting fresh fruits and crops. Even the scarcity of the resources they are sustaining their lives in quite better ways. They are the real gems.
Lush Green valleys, colorful lakes, scenic views, and gigantic mountains mesmerize the true heaven on earth. These things would make you fall in love this wonderland. Nature is always beautiful and here you can see all aspects of nature. These are some unique jewels of this region of Pakistan which made me share, specifically.
My contributions on google maps are versatile like I share photos and give reviews about a traveling place or a food stall, a famous restaurant or an amusement park, polyclinics or the best hospitals about particular diseases and answering the multiple questions and even adding some missing places. These all contributions bring me closer to my view and passion about serving, caring and guiding humanity.
