From Medical Rep to History Explorer: My Journey at El Jem and Beyond

Hi everyone!

Following my recent post about the “Immersion totale aux Roman Days d’El Jem”, I wanted to share more about my unique perspective as a Local Guide.

I work as a Medical Representative, which means my life is a constant journey. I travel across Algeria and Tunisia for cycle meetings, medical sessions, and professional training. But my passion doesn’t stop at the clinic door!

After my professional duties, I always seek out incredible cultural and historical events nearby. The Roman Days at El Jem was a magical discovery during one of my work trips. I love this balance: being a health professional by day, and a passionate storyteller of North African heritage by evening.

With over 53 million views on Google Maps, my goal is to show the world the hidden gems of our region, even between two business meetings!

**@PennyChristie**, to answer your question from my previous post: I was there as a spectator, but as a Local Guide, I felt like an active witness to history.
