Some experiences are about the event itself. Others are about the people you meet, the conversations you have, and the memories you take home. For me, the “Namaste India Summit” was definitely the latter.
Being part of this incredible gathering of Local Guides was such a special experience. What started with Google Maps has grown into something much bigger - a wonderful community of people who share a love for exploring, contributing, discovering and helping others experience the world a little better.
The summit was filled with inspiring conversations, laughter, new connections and, of course, plenty of stories about our journeys as Local Guides.
But what I loved most was meeting people I had known virtually and finally getting to interact with them in person. There is something truly special about putting a face and a personality to a name you’ve seen on Google Connect for so long!
A huge thank you to @Latika_Malhotra and the entire organising team @AjitThite @Kumaarsantosh @curatorofmemory @NareshDarji @TravellerG @deepakjhic @SharmaK and to everyone else for bringing this community together and creating such a memorable experience. A special thanks to @Tejal maam for guidance and support. It means a lot.
And to all the fellow Local Guides I met -thank you for the conversations, the warmth, the laughs and the wonderful memories. 
I came back with more than just photographs and souvenirs. I came back with new friendships, new inspiration and an even stronger sense of belonging to this amazing community.
Here’s to more adventures, more discoveries, more contributions — and hopefully many more opportunities for this wonderful community to meet again!
