From Komodo National Park Indonesia With Love

We have to say that we can’t swim, but the ocean is a beautiful place to miss. Even that we can’t swim, we really like to explore the seas and the islands. On top of that, Komodo National Park in the border region between the provinces of East Nusa Tenggara and West Nusa Tenggara is one of them.

The National Park includes the three larger islands Komodo, Padar and Rinca, and 26 smaller ones, with a total area of 1,733 km2 (603 km2 of it land). The Komodo National Park was founded in 1980 to protect the world’s largest lizard, The Dragon Komodo.

Later it was dedicated to protecting other species, including marine species. In 1991 the national park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The view and the nature of the Komodo National Park is really something. For you who really enjoy hiking or maybe swimming, this place is really a good choice.

Hello @futnotecom ,

Thanks for sharing all the information about Komodo National Park. The views there are breathtaking. Were you afraid of the komodo dragons? If I were there, I would stay very far from them. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hai @futnotecom .

This Island is in my whistlist that I want to visit.

I have been to Timor and Flres island, but never been to this island.

Someday I will visit this island.

I agree with @MoniDi , better take some safety distance with this poisoneous animal, Komodo can ran fast using their legs and upright their belly.
