They were certainly no ordinary days; it was a wonderful time. Although the occasion was a Google Product Experts event (#PESummit26), I hadn’t expected to meet such kind and lovely individuals from the distinguished global Local Guides community:
A stay and celebrations at The Westin Tokyo are not something easily forgotten, From the very first moment of checking into the hotel until the final farewell after checking out.
As for the sessions and celebrations at the Google offices in Shibuya Stream, they were a world apart—filled with precise information, valuable insights, and enjoyment.
In the process, I had the honor of meeting and getting to know a group of product experts from various countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
Among this elite group, I was delighted to meet several prominent figures from the Local Guides community; despite the enthusiastic atmosphere and the rapid succession of events, I made sure to note down the account handle of my friend @NareshDarji.
He was accompanied by a group of wonderful friends as well, and we all chatted about topics related to the Local Guides community and maps.
I wish I had managed to get a group photo with this friendly group of people.
Just like at the event I attended in Delhi, India, in 2024, I had the honor of meeting my friend @Adham again, as well as Asmaa Touzalti and many friends whom I was delighted to meet in person for the first time—after more than five years of interacting only behind screens—such as Mohamad Alzayat, Abu Malak, and Wahid Al Jundi.
While the Indonesian community was taking a group photo, I managed to slip in among them to capture this picture
