Every Friday, Googlers round up some of the best posts they came across during the week to celebrate the amazing discoveries Local Guides like you are sharing on Connect. This week, a city in Italy, Ethiopian tribes, and more.
@LilyanaZ : This week, my favorite post has to be @yohanssc ’s post “Off Season Sri Padaya | Adam’s Peak | | .” As @yohanssc explains,Adam’s Peak, which is located in Sri Lanka, has been a popular pilgrimage destination for several religions, and no wonder. The peak makes for a great spot to greet the first beams of the morning sun and offers breathtaking views which you can see in @yohanssc ’s photos. So, tie your hiking boots, keep in mind @yohanssc ’s trail suggestions and tips, and climb your way to the top.
@VitB : I was really surprised by the beauty of one Italian town which was unknown to me until I read @KarolT ’s awesome and detailed post “Siena - the dominant of central Tuscany.” In it, @KarolT tells us about the impressive historical and cultural sights he and his family visited inSiena, the beautiful frescoes and sculptures they saw, and the place they chose to sit and enjoy some dessert. If you’re a fan of architecture or if you’re looking for an artistic and historical city to spend your holiday, I recommend you check out this post.
@DanniS : The post I want to share with you this week is @Marichams ’s post “Southern tribes, Ethiopia.” I was mesmerized by her photos and really enjoyed the interesting story she told about the tribes in Ethiopia and their characteristics. Finding a common language with the many different people living in our world is fascinating and surely @Marichams had an unforgettable experience.
@sonnyNg : Do you like aerial photography? Do you wish to see the beautiful landscape of Indonesia from above? If your answer is ‘yes,’ then you’d like @daem ’s post “Rice Fields and fresh air in Lintau Buo West Sumatra, Indonesia.” This post not only has amazing photos of the lush green rice fields of West Sumatra, but also provides interesting information about the region, its sights, food, and agricultural characteristics.
