This is another favorite hiking spot of mine. I visit here frequently. This is 15 miles from San Jose downtown. Even though name says Fremont Older, this location is in Saratoga, CA. There are several trails here. There is a loop trail of 3 miles, which I like, which has quite a bit of climb. Hike to the view point from parking lot is less than1 mile, if you just want to go the top and take a view of silicon valley. You can also see the new Apple campus (Spaceship) from here. Last year we had a super bloom in California, trail was prettier in spring.
@jayasimha78 That place is beautiful. I like it for the Spring. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Your pictures is amazing! Thx!
Hello @jayasimha78 ,
Incredible photos, like usual! Thank you for sharing them, and making us discover this beautiful area! How long did it take you to reach this place?
I guess you’ve used several filters on some of the photos, am I right?
PS: I am going to move your post to the section Travel on Connect, the place where Local Guides put photos and describe places they’ve visited and liked.
Hallo @jayasimha78
Claudia
From your great photos @jayasimha78 Hunter’s Point looks like it offers a great vantage point. Thank you for sharing.
Good evening. Thank you for sharing amazing photos. Beautiful rainbow photos are the best. I was healed just by looking at the photos. Thank you very much. Regard🌈
@BorrisS Hike to the top takes around 20 Mins, there are several trails here, I generally take a loop trail, which is around 3 Miles long, which takes around one hour. Regarding filter, I use ‘Snapseed’ on iPhone to process, generally I use HDR & Details filter to make the picture pop a little bit.
Wonderful place and pictures. Thanks for sharing with us @jayasimha78
Thank you for the details @jayasimha78 .
Me too, I use filters in order to enhance few colors and elements on photos. Of course, everything with the right dose.
@BorrisS I am with you on the ‘right dose’. Initially I was fascinated by HDR (still am). I had to get in to minimalist photography to control my urge to over process my pictures. Still not sure I have got over that as yet. I think it’s a long healing process
