Sometimes there are people in our lives who leave a deep impression with their voices and art. For me, one of them is Freddie Mercury. He is a person whose voice and art I admire. After going through a difficult process, he became one of the most loved artists in the world.
I took a short trip to Europe this summer. Meanwhile, I read that a casino in Montro, Switzerland, had turned the place where he last recorded his sound into our museum. This was a great feeling for me. I was going to see many of his handwritings, belongings and the studio where he recorded his magnificent voice.
I immediately opened the maps and looked for the location. I thought I was a private museum here. But this was undertaken by a casino. I entered the casino with great feelings. And yes, it was as if there were in front of me. Many dresses belonging to him, pages he wrote himself and many special photographs. It was a great trip for me. My only regret is that we could buy a souvenir coin for 2 francs right at the exit, but I had euros and I couldn’t buy it. I hope you can buy it when you go.
This trip made me very happy after the earthquake disaster that I experienced a few months ago in my country and the city I lived in, and which had very difficult times.
