Today marks 45 years since the United Nation’s inaugural vehicle in encouraging worldwide awareness of the plight of our environment.
What is your local community doing to get involve in this important event? Today, I volunteered in the garden weeding program of Centennial Park! Started early this morning with cold rain but one feels it’s one’s obligation to mark this auspicious day and get involved! We were also planting saplings of figus plants to counter trees been removed to make way for Sydney Metro and Tramway construction around this area.
The photo posted here I took a couple of weeks ago at Hyde Park, Sydney, right across from where I live, as a contrast to today’s miserable weather!
