We shot a commercial there, there are other Wild West Towns in Tabernas (Almería, Spain) but this one looks quite real, even the cowboys…
They also have a show but just walking around it is a different experience.
Many Spaghetti Westerns have been shot here.
Almería itself, Cabo de Gata specially, it is an amazing place to visit, very very nice beaches, Playa de los Genoveses for instance, sunny 300 days per year at least, excellent Olive Oil, Raff Tomatoes are extremely good.

Wow! @misterkaplan That’s really interesting. I looked up Fort Bravo and it is indeed open to visitors.
Is there a reason why on your pictures, the place looks like it’s not very busy (you could say, it’s ‘deserted’
haha).
Is it normally not busy like in your photos? Or did you rent it for the day to shoot your commercial?

Thank you! Yes, it is open to visitors (from 9am to 6pm). My photos were taken very early in the morning and late in the evening that’s why it looks so “deserted” ![]()
Also we rented the place for the day. Usually you find visitors around but I wouldn’t say that it is a very busy place, depends on the day (tour buses, planned events, etc)
