A Small Boat, A Big Thank You 
A Little Piece of Bangladesh, Shared with 
During Connect Live Singapore, while we were exchanging souvenirs on behalf of the Bangladesh Local Guides Community, I suddenly noticed the official photographer from the Google team.
He was incredibly busy—moving from one place to another, capturing official photographs, documenting special moments, and making sure Local Guides from different countries had memories to cherish.
What truly touched us was his warmth, sincerity, and genuinely friendly nature. Despite his busy schedule, he was always approachable and dedicated to his work. His contribution may have happened quietly behind the camera, but it played an important role in preserving the beautiful memories of Connect Live.
To appreciate his kindness and dedication, the Bangladesh Local Guides Community presented him with a small souvenir representing Bangladesh’s history and heritage—a traditional boat.
The boat is deeply connected to the history, culture, and everyday life of Bangladesh, a country shaped by countless rivers and waterways. For centuries, boats have been an essential part of transportation, fishing, trade, and livelihoods across the country.
More than just a means of travel, the boat represents Bangladesh’s rivers, nature, rural life, and rich folk heritage. Through this small boat souvenir, we wanted to share a meaningful piece of Bangladesh’s history and cultural identity with him.
The gift may have been small, but the gratitude behind it was immense.
Some people become part of the story in front of the camera, while others work behind the lens to preserve those stories forever. This was our small way of saying thank you to the person who helped capture so many of our Connect Live memories.
And behind every beautiful initiative, there are many people whose dedication and tireless efforts make it possible.
