Among many things I love to see on local guide connect are murals. I can remember beautiful Murals posted by a local guide from Jordan and another set from local guide from Florida. They were so nice that I determined to make post about murals.
Almost a year now since then, I would not find enough murals to make it happen. But never escaped my mind.
I searched in many places looking for murals but they come rather in trickle. One here one there, I gathered them. So ,here are the few I found, hope you enjoy watching them.
These are so great @Emmik20 I love them too. It’s just wonderful to have these places decorated by these magnificent paintings. Imagine how hard it to make these as they are so huge.
I came across some really nice ones in Amsterdam too (will look them up for you). I wonder when is a thing called mural and when it is graffiti?
Hi @Erik_van_den_Ham Hi agree with you . A lot of work would gone into making the paintings. For an artist to painstakingly do the painting , it would cost him more than a day

Graffiti or mural , I myself don’t know the difference until I checked dictionary for their meanings and was told graffitis are mostly illegal one and usually done with can spray…
Wow @Emmik20 they’re amazing and great photos of them too. I love how some commemorate some of the country’s great achievers, and have to say that I’ve not seen this before!
Hi @AdamGT . It is an interesting way to commemorate national achievers. Even now the courtesy is being extended to doctors and nurses who are battling covid-19. I have seen a couple of bill boards extolling individual medical practitioner in the city.

We have also such murals in Moscow and other Russian cities, these murals devote to famous patriots, who died for freedom during the World War II.
Hi @helga19 it really interesting how Russian painted mural to remember the heroes of the patriotic war. I must say there are few of the murals in Ufa . I actually posted all the murals I found in my micro district.
Russia is a great country to live in whenever I finally returned home the experience I acquired in Russia will be definitely invaluable.
