I believe far from normal language, there is a connection we share through food. Food has its own language and deep reflection of how we connect as human beings, social creatures.
My passion for food begins far far away in my motherland village known as Rombo. There we cook bananas and Meat a popular traditional meal for the Chaggas and most of the Bantu. It defines us and just sitting and having a meal you are introduced to a new sphere of connection that is far beyond the day to day handshake. You are building your humanity as you enjoy the familiarity of a meal.
Whenever i travel, my first thing is to visit the and explore local food joints, get to learn recipes and niche of a meal. Happy faces always pop with a happy meal. The conversations get interesting. Google local guides has given me a platform for years know to be able to explore these places and connect with cultures make friends and share this moment by making them truly emotional through digital record keeping offered by Google. As a local guide i have immersed my self into a subliminal learning culture from my passion of exploration and adventures of seeking good food to know adding local businesses, having a platform to become available online, more accessible to potential customers.
Now, i identify as competent digital marketer and Street View photographer some skills i gained in google. My passion for everyday food is shared with the world and people can now interact with the culture of my country as i get to witness theirs. The beauty of sharing as human beings always connected…connected through dreams, connected through good eats.
