Nihari ==== One of the most popular local dish. I like most Javed nihari located at dastagir near Azizabad. Other popular nihari restaurants are Malik and Zahid.
Karahi ==== The most common dish which one can find at almost every restaurant. I like most karahi of Usmania restaurant (super highway) and Anwar Baloch at Malir. Taste of Cafe frontier and dua restaurant are also good.
Burgers === Well there are so many local chains serving burgers including some international chains like Hardee’s, Burger King, KFC and macdonald. I like most Burger Inc and Hardee’s. OMG and burger shak are also good.
Biryani ==== Honestly I am very much touchy about taste of Biryani. Till now only one restaurant inspired me in biryani taste. Shabbir catering located at Muhammad Ali Society. For catering or picnics biryani of Ahmed food is awesome.
Mandi ==== There are few restaurants serving Mandi. Out of them Redan Mandi and Mandi House are super delicious with equally Arabian ambiance.
Katakat ==== Noorani is serving best katakat in Karachi. Charming restaurant is also good and serving delicious katakat.
BBQ ==== most common food avaialble in many many restaurants in Karachi. Meeruth restaurant at guru mandir and bundu Khan are very good.
