Food that won't get mentioned in Michelin Guide but locals go

I’m not really a big foodie but rather enjoy going to restaurants and food outlets where most locals go. Instead of relying on Michelin Guides, I prefer to look into what Google Local Guides have to say about where locals go. That’s probably the best way to learn about culture when travel (not to mention more economical).

Here’s one of the most common type eateries in Hong Kong called “Cha Chan Teng”, it’s like a local diner. It’s rather inexpensive and they serve some western, some Chinese and some really local food. It’s also famous for its fast service and combo meals. If you happen to visit Hong Kong, I strongly recommend you to try it out.
