Food Photography

There are no words to describe how much I love food. What makes me happy is to see good pictures of food on google, and what makes me happier is when I see photos that I’ve taken are being viewed.

I love sharing pictures of food and I also enjoy posting pictures of new or unknown places, like I did few years ago in Italy. I felt like I’ve won the noble prize when I’ve added a gym that was not found in google map in Sicily.

What gym was it?

It was a small gym in a small town called Milazzo. The equipments were limited for weight lifting, leg press, treadmill, bicycles, etc

What makes the pictures of food so interesting for you?

I like the presentation of the food. Sometimes the restaurants know how to attract customers by making food look tasty. When I look at nice pictures of food, sometimes I get inspired and try to cook something that somehow resembles what I’ve just seen. I like trying new things and sometimes I like to play in the kitchen

Pictures in general inspire. They have an influence on me :sunglasses:

I like almost everything. When it comes to restaurants I enjoy Japanese cuisine with most. When I’mat home I invent new dishes, mostly inspired by the Kuwaiti cuisine

Japanese is nice. Great taste! Although, now that you mentioned the Kuwaiti dishes, I am curious about that. What’s typical for this cuisine and what dishes do you like to prepare?

Kuwaiti cuisine is a fusion of Indian/Iranian and Turkish.

Lunch is always (basmati) rice with either fish or meat and there’s always a sauce on the side which is tomato cooked with garlic…

the rice is also cooked with shredded onions, chickpeas and some people include raisons and cloves . We also have sweet rice which is usually mixed with seafood broth/curry. There are different ways to cook rice, it depends on what you’re having the rice with, fish, meat or chicken

There’s also the sweet noodles that is mixed with eggs…that is either breakfast or dinner :=)

I can go on about other dishes, there is a long list, hahaha
