Following and followers

Please help. I don’t have anyone Following me, and neither do I have any Followers. How do I do this?

I still can not find a way to follow others or get people to follow me. If there was an easy and visible way to follow me and perhaps more significantly see my profile and then my bio, people would be able to see my links. With 600k views of my photos that could mean a lot of people also potentially seeing my links if the route to them was made possible. That would be one of the best perks I and I think other guides could get and the greatest incentive to keep adding content and rising through the guide levels. Is there a way to get people to follow me as a guide and if so how? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @barneymusician the best way is to simply post consistently great content in your reviews and photos of places that you’ve visited and experienced. People who find your content useful will follow you.

The “follow” option is active on your profile.

You can choose anyone you desire.

However, we can’t choose followers. We have to attract them by

  1. Consistent high-quality contributions to Maps

  2. Active presence on Connect.

In this way, you have to wait and watch to get followers.

Look at the reviews and photos on places around you, if you like what you see, then follow that Local Guide from within the Maps App on your phone.
