FLOATING RESTAURANTS TO VISIT IN KENYA!

1.THE MOORINGS FLOATING RESTAURANT

The mooring seafood floating restaurant is one of the oldest well known restaurants.

It is majorly loved for fish,lobster, crabs,prawn and its sunset kind of view.

It is located at Mtwapa creek with a good view of the bridge.

This is the very bridge that stands as border between Mombasa island and Kilifi county.Something that makes it so unique.

2.STEDMAK GARDENS-KAREN

-Stedmak gardens has also been on the interest of people and even tourist for being one of the most spacious for event creation.

-Their service too has been a please to their visitors which tend to give them a good reputation and ratings.

3.THE LAMU FLOATING BAR AND RESTAURANT.

-The Lamu floating bar and restaurant is also a perfect getaway,especially to the fun seekers in the midst of a culturally confined island.

-Located about 1km from Shela and Lamu towns,the bar offers locals and visitors a unique floating bar and restaurant experience.

4.THE DAM REDHILL

-The Dam Redhill hosts one of the most unique dining experiences,boat riding and sports fishing.

-Amidst the hustle and bustle in Nairobi, it is actually possible to disappear in Tigoni,less than 30minutes drive from the City and have some fun.

-They also have a 20km tract for bike riding and also provide zip lining experiences for adrenaline junkies.

5.TAMARIND DHOW.

-The Tamarind dhows have actually been converted into a restaurant.

-Nawalilkher and Babulkher are authentic ocean dhows that were formerly used for cargo trading along the Kenyan coast and on the Arab states.

-They were refurbished into floating restaurants while retaining their traditional aspects of original dhows.

-They carry a maximum of 70 and 55 people and are only available on exclusive hire.

-You will also get to cruise around this dhows while having the best seafood ever!!!

-Something else???Actually people do propose on the same dhows, not just eating…its so much fun…

This looks like a fun experience to eat in a floating restaurants.

We don’t have them in Costa Rica and I don’t think that could happen because the rivers, big lakes and oceans are public property but maybe some small lakes can do something like this.
