Cómo y dónde puedo ver la fecha exacta desde cuando soy Local Guide de Google Maps?. Alguien me puede responder?. Gracias
Hi @NandoRonda !
Have you tried searching for “Local Guide” in your email program? You’ll surely find the first email sent from the program there (if you haven’t deleted it).
Bye,
David
Hola @NandoRonda , welcome back to Connect. It’s a long time I don’t see you. How are you?
Finding the first email could be difficult, but it’s not necessary.
Your first review was posted 11 years ago, but of course I can’t tell you the day
The easiest way is to search the email sent to you from google-maps-noreply@google.com for the 10 years.
Mine was sent on July 16 2026 (10 years from my first contribution)
Please also note that with the recent changes in Google Maps every contributor is considered a Local Guide, so the day of your first contribution is also the day you joined.
In my case the difference is 3 days, as I joined the program on July 13, 2016
Happy to see you again, too much changes in my life.I no longer have that email, so how can I find out the exact date I started?.
Hi @ErmesT ! Mine was by “noreply-localguides@google.com”
If I remember correctly, even here on Connect, by selecting your profile picture - Preferences at the bottom of the page, some useful information about it was shown, am I wrong? ![]()
However, I found this solution which is useful to know when you first registered on Connect: Know Your Connect Joining Date - Easy Steps
Bye,
David
Actually, no—the start date as a Local Guide on Google Maps doesn’t show up there.
Let’s try this then:
Learn how to extract your real registration date with Google Takeout.
When you sign up for Local Guides (or all Google services), Google creates a “contractual position” (a service activation) on your account.
This information is saved separately from Maps.
- Go to the official Google Takeout page.
- Click Deselect all to avoid downloading gigabytes of unnecessary data!!!
- Scroll through the list and select only the Google Account (Registration and account activity data) item.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next step, then select the export frequency (once) and click Create export.
- Wait a few minutes and download the .zip archive that will arrive via email or directly from the screen.
Where to find the exact data:
Open the extracted zip folder, go to your Google Account, and open the file called Service Subscriptions.html (or .json, depending on the format you choose) or the profile summary file. - Inside that file, you won’t find your Maps history, but rather a list of Google services associated with your profile with their opt-in timestamp (e.g., Local Guides Program - Activation Date: DD/MM/YYYY). This is the official and formal date of your membership, independent of any previous reviews.
- Or find this information on file named: "username"ChangeHistory
When I registered for Local Guide, was
| "2015-11-16 09:11:49 Z | SERVICE_ADDED | [Unknown service] 398" | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
If you have more or less a vague idea of the year, this Takeout attempt might be helpful (if not your last hope!)
Bye,
David
