Discription:-

The month of Sawan, darshan of Lord Shiva, and reaching Parshuram Mahadev Temple, Village Pura Mahadev Baghpat (U.P.) from the road of Niwadi-Raghunathpur passing through the lush green mango and pear gardens. I started my journey as soon as the first rays of the morning appeared. I had only one thought in my mind – to visit the ancient temple of Pura Mahadev, the place of penance of Lord Parshuram located in Pura.

According to the Tourism Department of Uttar Pradesh, this is a very holy place and its recognition is also considered equivalent to Rameshwaram and twelve Jyotirlingas.

Anyway, today nature also looked as if it was engrossed in the preparations for the Abhishek of Lord Parshuram Mahadev. Cool breeze, calm and gentle, passing through the orchard of mango trees, crossing the highway,

as soon as I reached near the temple, I saw the conch and flag of Parashuram temple and when I went a little further then I saw a very big gate, as soon as I came near the gate,

& there was a crowd of devotees immersed in devotion, then I parked my motorcycle,

and after worshipping Parashuram Mahadev, I started back to my home enjoying the calm and gentle atmosphere of nature.

Discription:-
The mythological belief is that this is the same Mahadev temple where Lord Parshuram performed penance of Lord Shiva by installing a Shivling to repent for the murder of his mother and Lord Shiva was pleased with his penance and appeared before him and also revived his mother Renuka.

When you leave for Niwari from Modi Nagar, then from Niwari to Raghunathpur in the 15 km stretch, there are thousands of bighas of mango groves and there, outside every mango orchard, there are some mango shops sitting, the owners of the orchards, you can buy the mangoes from them at the basic price. They have “chousa” “Dashari” & many types mangos . @Ssiddharth2000
