Exquisite Indian Cuisine at Mithila Restaurant: A Delightful Experience in Osaka

I opted for the special veg. The dinner platter was a feast for the senses. The flavours were authentic, and the portions were plentiful. Every dish was a delight from the aromatic curry to the fluffy naan.

I enjoyed visiting the Mithila restaurant in Osaka during my trip in 2023. The restaurant is located on the first floor, and this cosy little eatery offers a delightful taste of Indian cuisine.

While the food was fantastic, it’s important to note that the restaurant currently lacks a wheelchair-accessible entrance. This can be a challenge for individuals with mobility limitations.

@NareshDarji , It’s quite interesting to know about the restaurant and you like the food. Please tell, was the meal prepared based on your choice of ingredients? or do they follow any Indian cookbook?

I ordered the Indian Veg Dish with Dal Makhani, Chole, Rice, Naan and Salad. The cook was from Delhi so the taste was completely Indian.

Yes, It was delicious :yum: food @TravellerG

To be honest, there are very few options for food abroad, especially for vegetarian Indians. Mithila and Chakra restaurant helped me to survive in Japan :grinning:.

@NareshDarji , I was a bit surprised to know how someone else can cook to our taste. Now understood. Thanks for the clarification.
