Exploring Sindh - Tradition, Culture and People of Pakistan

I took this picture on of my culture exchange trips projects, the girl belongs to interior part of Sindh, - a province of Pakistan, known for its extremely rich culture, traditions, literature, and people.
This little girl belongs to a village near Sukkur, as you can see in the picture she is busy in stitching the local manufactured “Ralli” (patch work) an art work rich fabric that is made after stitching together different pieces of fabric to give it a unique design and colors. Though the girl was extremely expert in what she does, but this also represents how majority of females in Pakistan are deprived of even basic necessities of life, let alone education.
This little girl for instance, learned the skill at the age of 6 from her mother who also learned the same from her mother who had again spent her life doing the same thing. There has not yet been a point where the thought of educating her has sparked their minds.
