Chalai Market, Trivandrum was indeed a gem. I reached by 6.15 am and the market was open with people unloading and arranging their produce.
I reached early morning as I didn’t want to miss the morning light and didn’t want to struggle in the crowd. The people were indeed great, cracking jokes and helping other. This was the first time I visited this market. Here are some of the photos from the morning.

I have visited Chalai Market a number of times…I’m referring to 1980ies…
After that, as one-way, I have passed through this heritage road… very important commercial hub for Trivandrum.
