Less than 2 weeks ago I launched the idea of a new type meetup: Explore the Globe. The response was overwhelming, and we already have enough candidates to present a location for the 1st session!.It will be held on Saturday 23 September 2023 at 2 PM CEST.

The concept is quite simply: in a 1 hour virtual meetup we collectively explore the globe by having 5-minute slots from local guides from across the globe who are taking part in the meetup on their smartphone from a location of their choice where they can tell something interesting about.

As you can see: we will cover most continents, making it a truely global event!

Thanks for the later start for me @JanVanHaver It has been tough to find a location at 9.00 A.M. on a Saturday in my region in the fall. I do have it worked out thou.
