Serampore , a small town situated in the banks of river Ganga is calm and quite place. It is situated in hooghly district of state west Bengal. Earlier in the 1800 centuries dutch people came here. From that time this town had started developing Serampore college for normal studies, Serampore textile college, court and other buildings. These things are now heritage assets of this town. Recently Danish Tavern , a restaurent has been developed in a old building with the impressions of those heritages. This building is commonly known as HOLUD BARI besides ganga river, near dhobi ghat.
Regarding me , I am a nostalgic minded person who loves to enjoy these things and thus I guide the tourists happily who came here and the surrounding places. Just opposite to the river Barrackpore is situated. That town also has its own beauty with lots of ancient buildings. Some of its areas are governed by military and police personnels like Lad Bagan. For biriyani lovers Dada Boudi biriyani is famous in barrackpore near station area.
