Error publicando videos

Estoy intentando publicar videos (formato .mp4), en distintas ubicaciones, desde mi PC usando Chrome o Firefox, pero el GoogleMaps muestra el error: “No se puede subir el archivo seleccionado”.
En mi caso sólo es posible publicar desde el teléfono.
He visto algunas publicaciones reportando el mismo problema, pero en otros idiomas. Ninguna de las soluciones propuestas funciona para mi.
¿Alguien más tiene este problema? ¿Alguién encontro la solución?

I’ve had the same problem for the last 6 or so months. After uploading over 100 videos I just stopped because of this, but would like to love to start again.

Video contributions should be made via phone on the Maps app preferably in vertical format @NaxoF the App will generate an upload in a suitable format for Maps with appropriate formats and codecs.

If you insist on uploading via PC then you need to be careful with your codecs and formats. I’m not going to tell you the following is in any way official but I do provide video to Google via another product and there are some things that are non negotiable - these might apply to Maps - you could try and see what happens.

  • Original frame rate only - don’t transcode into a different frame rate - acceptable frame rates are 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30
  • Original aspect ratio unless cropping from a higher resolution source e.g. pulling 1920x1080 from a 2560x1440 source is acceptable
  • Pixel aspect ratio must be 1:1
  • Accepted video formats are
    • ProRes 422 HQ using PCM codec
    • H.264 .mp4
    • MPEG-2 .mpg
  • Audio Profiles
    • s302m
    • MP2
    • MPEG-1 layer 2
    • 16 or 24 bit
    • 48KHz
