Hello, as local guides we are all photographers, even if we are not doing it to get something in return except satisfaction from those who use our photos. As we all use photos here when ever creating posts and we also have option to use photos from the library which is a good thing.
I was not used in using Google Photos to edit my photos when ever I needed to edit my photos, recently when I went to my photos on my Gmail account, I noticed that with the new features, not sure when it has been there, you can have edits suggeted by the program which comes handy. Google photos can edit your photos, either manually or automatically as long as you have the assistant card turned on to do the suggestions wich you can either accept by saving the changes made or reject. To enable or deactivate this feature, go to settings on the 3 dots on your top left, and click there at Assistant cards and you will be able to see more options you can control there.
The following features or edit are available on Google Photos
Stylized photo
Movie
Collage
Color pop
This is what I managed to see, and I am hopping to learn more, for those who knows a bit more can share theirs here and other tips on how we can use this tool as local guides to enhence our photos here on Connect.
This last one is in GIF or Animation, see photo bellow:
I am hopping you will enjoy this, and I will be waiting to hear what you love about Google Photos!
It is great to hear you got a great response with help for you to resize your photos. Thank you for sharing that with us.
If the App is not working in your phone try to uninstall and install it again.
The best place to get assistance with any Google products is Google Products forums. If you still have issues after you reinstall your app then go to the
Great post! I love how user friendly Google photo is. It’s easy to use for most people. Lately, I’ve discovered Snapseed as well to edit picture. It’s made by Google as well if I’m not mistaken and it’s a bit harder to use. But the result are stunning. I think the best is to use both.
Hi @SunshineNY every smartphone comes with these apps as default, as long as it is Android or Pixel, when you downloaded it, it might have still remained in the same folder where you find Gmail, Gdrive and others. Find Gmail first then you will see Google Photos.
Hi @marcorp thank you for that and I value your input. You are one of the most active local guides here, I see you everywhere here, and that is great!!!
Hi @Melissa_Langlois I once tried Snapseed but I did not have a need for it anymore, I was using it for editing 360 photos to post on street view. Now you will have another option which will be Google photos.
