End of the World Cinema

I like reading stories about places that are a long way from anything else, especially historic places.

I came upon a story about a cinema in the Sinai desert. At first I thought it was very historic but after further investigation, I read that it was built in the late 1990s.

I also read that it has now been completely destroyed. It is very unfortunate that there are people that want to destroy something that may benefit their city or country with tourism.

I haven’t been to this location but may oneday. The Place is known as the End of the World Cinema and the location is seen here on Google Maps.

You can read more about it in the below links or search Google.

As your username suggests, you are really an eagle eye @TheEagleEye

This seems to be a wonderful place and what an experience it must have been to watch a movie under the starry sky in a desert location.
It is a sad thing to witness it fade away…
