Eiffel Tower- Parisian landmark, Paris, France

Hello my connect friends,

I hope you all had a fun weekend!

Being a Travel-Fashion enthusiast, I had always dreamt of visiting Paris- the fashion capital of the world since my childhood. Despite the claims by many others, Paris still takes the crown of being the global fashion capital. Apart from headquartering the well-known fashion brands, Paris is an ultimate travel destination owing to the popularity of Tour Eiffel- the symbol of love!

Built to serve as an entrance gateway to the International exposition of 1889, Eiffel Tower has become an identity of the city of Paris. It also is the symbol of liberation in Paris. The Eiffel tower is entirely made up of wrought iron and truly denotes the revolution in french civil engineering and architecture. It is regularly renovated for its ever-growing crowd.

My visit to Eiffel Tower

During my visit to the Eiffel tower, I started from the Champ de Mars side, spent a lot of time admiring the wonder of the world and how could I not click myself with this wonder. I reached the main entrance where we bought the tickets. The security check at the entrance ensures the smooth functioning of all events. Once you cross the security, you have to wait for an elevator to take you to the top (this can be for hours) or simply climb the stairs (which needs a lot of time apart from energy). The information about the tickets, timings and prices are available on their official site (visit for kids below 4 years is free of cost).

About Eiffel Tower

The structure has three floors with picturesque views of the city of Paris from all sides. You choose which floor you wish to visit based on your comfort for height. During my visit to Eiffel, I opted for elevators to the top floor. You can find the restaurants on the first and second floors. The Champagne bar (chargeable) on the top floor offers you a unique experience of enjoying the glass of champagne with the scenic views around.

Accessibility feature of Eiffel Tower

What can you visit near Eiffel Tower

Champ de Mars

Louvre Museum

Quai Branly Museum

Paris Aquarium

Notre-Dame de Paris

Place de la Concorde

Although there can be multiple things that are unique to Paris and of course the Eiffel Tower, I would limit my post to this information only. But the most important of all is the safety of yourself and the valuables at the tourist attractions is a must.

As usual, a great post @Smita_Patil

Especially, the view from the top is gorgeous.

I came close to visiting it during the trip to Germany in 2018 but could not make it.

Your post and photos encourage me to attempt visiting here again.
