Edit Accepted: Warba Bank ATM in Riggae, (Rigai) Kuwait Near Grand Hyper

Hello Local Guides,

Sharing my experience from today.

I was walking in Riggae area, near Grand Hyper Market. While walking I saw a Warba Bank ATM.

I checked Google Maps and there was no listing for this ATM at all. It was completely missing.

So I decided to add it as a new place to help others find it easily.

I added the place directly from the location:

Name: Warba Bank ATM

Category: ATM

Location: Near Grand Hyper, Riggae, Kuwait

After adding, I received an email that my edit is pending for review. Shortly after, I received another email that it has been accepted.

Now this ATM is live on Google Maps. I am glad that people living and working in Riggae can now easily find this Warba Bank ATM.

Congratulations @rimanhossain-IND , I share your enthusiasm when getting new places added to the Map :grin:

When the time between the notification about Pending and Approved is very brief, this means that the approval was done by means of an algorithm, without human intervention. Should you want to know more about that process, you can listen to this podcast episode

Congratulations. Most LGs are unable to edit and add ATMs on Google Maps.

Maybe it is time that others try also to see if the protection of ATMs has been relaxed.

You are right. Some banks allow adding ATMs on Maps, some don’t. In this case, the Warba Bank ATM was accepted.

I didn’t know that a quick approval means it was done by algorithm. That’s really interesting.

I am really happy to hear that most LGs find it difficult to add ATMs. I didn’t know that.

I was just walking near Grand Hyper in Riggae and found this Warba Bank ATM was missing on Maps, so I tried to add it. Luckily it was accepted quickly.

I hope this information helps other Local Guides to try again.
