Edinburgh has long held a coveted spot on my travel wish list. From its renowned medical science research centers to its ancient castles steeped in history, this city has always beckoned me through the pages of journals, news articles, and cinematic depictions.

During a trip to London in October 2023 for a Google summit, I seized the opportunity to extend my journey northward to Edinburgh. While I didnât get to visit every destination on my list, such as the enchanting Hairy Red Cow Farm in the Highlands or the rugged extremities of Scotland, I cherished every moment spent in this captivating city.
