EDENSEE - A MUST SEE!

During our TET vacation in Vietnam, we visited Da Lat and stayed at the Dalat Edensee Lake Resort and Spa . The resort is approximately 12 kilometers from the city. It is situated around Tuyền Lâm Lake (hồ Tuyền Lâm), a man-made lake.

We were initially hesitant to go because of the recent pandemic, despite the fact that we had already reserved a hotel room a month before. We called the resort, and they assured us that everything is fine in Da Lat and that they are also taking every precaution.

Nguyen Kim’s bus limousine was our primary mode of transportation. The bus was already full when we booked a month before. Because it is a limousine bus, the total seating capacity is only 20. However, we were surprised that most passengers cancelled their trip on the day we went to Da Lat. The limousine bus continued on schedule, with only 5 passengers on board.

The limousine bus provided an excellent experience.

We traveled approximately seven hours from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat City.

As I said previously, the resort is about 12 kilometers away from the main city. We hired a taxi to carry us to the resort when we arrived at Da Lat’s main city. We arrived at our destination after approximately 25 minutes.

Checking in is a breeze. We need to fill out some stuff about ourselves as well as our timeline for the last 14 days. That was the most recent norm.

We were taken to our villa by a golf cart after checking in and being officially welcomed to the resort.

When we arrived at our villa, we were greeted with a beautiful and spacious room. The toilet is also enormous, almost identical in size to the bedroom. There was also an electric heater since the temperature in Dalat at the time was 16 degrees Celsius.

The resort provides visitors with many outdoor experiences as well as indoor activities. Among the outdoor events are:

  • Archery
  • Lake path - Explore the resort’s forest and lake shore, around 3 kms.
  • Kayaking - Enjoy a kayak tour under guidance of trainers
  • Animal farm
  • Tennis
  • Forest challenges
  • Exploring nature

HOW ABOUT THE VIEW?

The landscapes are one of the resort’s greatest features. There are many breathtaking views. We also had the opportunity to assist the hotel workers in feeding the animals, which was a memorable experience.

AT NIGHT

If you like nightlife, pubs, and night markets, this is not the venue for you. However, if you want to unwind and appreciate nature, this is the place to be.

You will enjoy the peace and calm of the evening by listening to random peacock calls.

FOOD

Without noting the food, every hotel or resort experience is not complete. The Dalat Edensee Resort and Spa pampers its guests with a delectable and expansive breakfast buffet and a la carte menus.

STAFF

One of the great assets of a company is the workers. They are one of several factors that influence the success of any company. The staff at Dalat Edensee Resort & Spa is polite and knowledgeable, and always ready to help.

We stayed at this resort for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was one of our Vietnam’s many unforgettable holidays. I’m not sure what ‘Edensee’ really means. Maybe it’s an invitation to ‘See the garden of Eden’.

After having spent our stay, we checked out and returned to Ho Chi Minh City, to our usual lives. Once more, by Nguyen Kim Bus Limousine.

Wow what a resort! Great post supported by great photos @noelnico . So much to see and do there!! I must also say that the limousine bus looks and sounds interesting. I’ve never had that experience. What COVID-19 prevention measures did you notice at the resort?

@AdamGT

The resort first took our body temperatures. Hand gels and alcohol are still readily available. Then we must complete a checklist/form detailing our timetable or whereabouts within the exact periods when the pandemic is active. As you might remember, this is Vietnam, and the government worked very hard to suppress the pandemic. Social distancing and face masking are also appropriate.

If you’re wondering about the limo, they did take our temperatures as well as our timelines. The bus had to wait before entering Lam Dong province, and some officials went to check on everyone on board.

Welcome back in Connect after two years, @noelnico

Amazing post, well written and documented. It seems you really had a great vacation.

However, (Yes, I know I am boring) I would like to remind you the rules of the community about promoting places.

Can you please remove the link to the website of the business (that s a commercial website) and to replace it with the link of the Business listing in Google Maps? This will make easier for us to find the place, and will avoid any (even if not intentional) promotion.

Th edit your post simply press the three blue dots on your post then click on “edit”

Edit your post - Why and How To will guide you.

In addition I would like to remind you that in Connect every user have a limit of 1000 photos. Even if I love your photos (BTW, one has been uploaded twice), I suggest you to reduce the number in each post. This will give you the opportunity to share a larger number of post, and for people with low connection speed your post will load faster.

Again, welcome back in the community, hope you will enjoy it
