I love food. And I love to find new places to enjoy great cuisine, but… is it possible to explore world of restaurants, cafes, canteen and other food related establishments together with children?
It is, but you must know, where to go. Those, who have kids by themselves, will understand - a kid needs to be distracted, otherwise you will be distracted from your food
Of course, you can use mobile phone or tablet, but I try to avoid it as much as possible while going out.
So, when I eat out of house, I would choose place, where is “kids corner”, where is kids menu (optional - because kids also like just French fries), and most important - where is kind stuff, that will help you with kids - give kids chair, offer place near kids room, tell that there is extra space in toilets for changing diapers, and so on. Attitude of staff actually is most important thing. Even, if there is not cool “kids corner”, good communication and assistance from establishment stuff is critical for me to choose - will I come next time to this place. It is important, that there is place to store kids carriage and some person, that opens doors while I push carriage in or out of restaurant/cafe.
So… my proposal - lets rate places by their attitude to kids and new parents.
