I love eating.To me the best way to experience a new place is to eat like locals. Since last year, I often got assignment to visit several cities in Indonesia, that’s when I started to get really into reviewing restaurants, especially the restaurant loved by the locals.
For me, eating like locals help you get to know a place better. See the local habits and maybe get to know some of the local people and get their recommendations on what’s interesting about the city. What food I should try.
It’s also great to see if my reviews, photos or recommendations helped so many people (and getting perks too). For me, Google Local Guides really make it easier to get to know a new place, finding your ways, where to eat and where to go.
