You know somewhere it is shaming to eat where everybody eat with fork and knifes/spoons.

Hi @Nyainurjanah , nice post. For me, I only eat by hand when it’s a kind of food that requires such. There are local delicacies in Nigeria that may be uninteresting when eaten with spoon or fork, like soups and swallows. I’m sure you can relate. Other formal foods are often eaten with cutleries for neatness especially when outside.

I really like your post. Rice is the prime food in my locality also. Here in my locality people prefer to have food by hands rather than by spoon or forks. In high end parties or official functions I do prefer to use hands even.

In Bangladesh We still use hand to eat daily meal. But when we eat noodles then we use fork or chopstick. Taking meal using hand is a tradition. All are not comfortable with cutleries.
