Easy life with google maps

I am a local guide here in East Africa and a tour guide by professional,my work involves travelling a lot around these region to various tourism destination which includes hotels, lodges, banks, government offices, campsites, mountains just to mention but a few.

I most of the time go through local guide reviews of different destinations and places as this have proved to be more accurate, trustworthy and more reliable source of information.

some of our destinations especially wildlife parks are so remote and expansive,Masai Mara game reserve alone is 1500 square kilometer of long grass, shrubs and gorges making it very difficult to navigate during game drives,Tsavo national park is even more expansive(the size of Scotland)and wild animals are so scattered making it difficult to spot them. This is why we the safari guides came up with and idea where if one tour guide spots an animal he just drop a google pin and copy the link into our tour guides/safari guide wattsapp group for every other guide in the park to pick and use a google map navigation through to the exact location of the animal, this has proved to be effective, time saving, fuel saving and makes our game viewing experience more exciting.

It is my believe that we are not short of innovation in this field and it is for us to come up with different ideas that can make our lives and work easier and more interesting.
