Early morning at Rubber Plantation

In the afternoon of 16 March 2020, I went to my friend’s village to see the rubber plantation and production process located in the forest behind the village.

I live in Rangoon (now Yangon). I crossed the Rangoon river at 2:00 PM to Dala Town. It took only 20 minutes by ship. I continued by bus for an hour to “MaGyikan” village of KawHmu Town.

My friend said Rubber workers start harvesting latex from rubber trees at 3:00 AM in the dark. After 4 hours, at 7:00 AM, they collect rubber latex from the trees.

“My friend harvesting rubber latex”

In this case, I would like to tell you about the above fake photo. It was shot at 9:09 AM. I didn’t get a real 3:00 AM photo.

I also planned to take the photo from their work start 3:00 AM. For this, we have to walk about an hour from village to rubber plantation at 2:00 am.

At night, my friend said we should go after the sunrise round about 5:30. WOW WOW ??

, I want to shoot their work in the dark since 3:00 AM. My friend told me that he does not dare to go to 2:00 am because we have to go through some strange place and a cemetery. ??. I also agreed on his idea, me too afraid. ??.

So, I didn’t get a photo of 3:00 AM harvesting latex. So, my friend acts as worker harvesting latex and I make the fake photo of 3:00 AM using the manual setting and an off-camera flash at 9:09 AM in the rubber plantation.
