In this discussion, I would like to share some powerful and helpful links to navigate Connect better than what the menus and search options normally allow.
Latest discussions
Use this link to see a list of all the most recent discussions across all 4 categories. The newest discussions are listed first. This will give you a better overview of what is currently going on on Connect compared to hitting Topics. I named my browser bookmark True Latest Topics.
Latest discussions with no replies
Use this link to see a list of the most recent discussions where nobody has responded so far. Bookmark this link if you want to show your appreciation to fellow LG who takes the time to share their Maps and LG experiences on Connect.
Link to make it easy for others to PM you
This link will create a new Personal Message with the specified title and body to the user you select. Here is the format needed:
https://localguidesconnect.com/new-message?username=MortenCopenhagen&title=Profile%20link&body=This%20is%20my%20Maps%20profile%20link:
You need to replace your my username with yours, and specify the title and body. %20
means space. By creating such links, you can make it easier and faster to help other users.
Feel free to suggest more dynamite links below. My secret sauce is this.

@MortenCopenhagen Seems like those “unanswered” topics are sorted by “date modified”, not “date created” - as I presume that you wrote the post in my screenshot 21 days ago and then adapted it 4 days ago.
WoW! now easy to find out no replied post and latest discussion. I am bookmarking both.
Ups, my mistake. Please test again. I think I fixed it.

Hello @MortenCopenhagen ,
really interesting! If I well remember you already talked about “Discourse” .
If you learn how to use it, as you said, your searching ability will increase a lot.
Another example is this really easy to learn searching string:
@MortenCopenhagen before:2024-10-31 tag:Lists
Just USERNAME + DATE you are looking for (before or after) and TAG that you are interested into.
These are like the Google Search Operator String. Extremely powerful but… really few people heard about them or are using.
Sure that your post will help people to better use the searching tool in connect
Thanks for this precious indication / suggestion.
Take care and enjoy
Ciao
Marco

Marco,
Did you find a way to select days as #today yesterday ?

I started seeing refusals from the server when using the long url to get Latest discussions. So I simplified it to this:
https://www.localguidesconnect.com/search?q=status%3Apublic%20in%3Afirst%20order%3Alatest
As a consequence, new discussions in Community guidelines will also start show up.
