Being involved in an international volunteer work we finally arrived in our new city…Me, my wife and our buggages.San Pedro in Ivory Coast, Africa. Anxious and full of questions we were happy to see our friends coming to help us find our way to our home!!!Every thing was new and strange.We couldn’t find a lot of info on the Internet about this city. We were completely dependent on our friends to learn where is the super market, the laundry, the restaurants etc… It would have been so much easier and faster if someone could show us and inform us about this city while being available 24/7…That my friends put me in thoughts…I decided to help the next person that would be in the same position by improving the informations available on Google maps. Internet access is starting to be more available to the citizens of this country so helping them by improving Google maps in regions and places where access is possible only by foot, makes me feel a great inner joy.
That’s my motivation and the main cause I am a local guide here in this small town of Ivory Coast.
